As you know one of the biggest deciding factors when purchasing an electric trolley is after-sales support.
The PowerBug warranty has exceptional terms that allow you to buy with absolute confidence, in the knowledge that in the rare event of any issues, you will be left neither in the lurch nor out of pocket.
The warranty that other brands offer will typically provide two full years of cover, with a sliding scale discount scheme for any work or parts required beyond that.
Our five-year warranty turns those figures on their heads by providing an industry-leading three years of full cover – 50% more than other brands - and then a two-year discount scheme beyond that with all work completed at our UK headquarters.

Trolley Warranty**
Your PowerBug Trolley is covered against manufacturing faults and defects for 3 years from date of purchase.
Years 1, 2 & 3:

Comprehensive warranty against manufacturing defect in line with standard returns procedure*
Collection and delivery charge paid will be refunded if fault found is within warranty terms and is within 6 months of purchase.
What happens if my trolley fails after 3 years?:
Between years 4 and 5 of ownership there is a limited warranty period. Should there be a manufacturers fault or defect we will offer discounted rates on product to offset the cost of replacement
If your product fails after the 3 year warranty period the product can still be returned to PowerBug HQ for inspection and diagnosis:

Product will be assessed and if found to have failed within normal usage* the PowerBug service team shall either:
Repair the product free of labour charge.
Or
Offer a new frame to the customer at a 20% discount against the advertised RRP listed on the PowerBug website.
Replacement frames will carry a new 3 year warranty.
*The PowerBug warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur during normal use against purchases made within the UK mainland only. Any breakage caused by accidental damage or as a result of abuse or misuse or commercial use or fair wear and tear is not covered. Any repairs or replacements made without charge do not carry a new warranty beyond that of the original purchase. The warranties contained herein are offered as an extra benefit and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. We reserve the right to request an electronic proof of purchase. Lithium Batteries supplied with PowerBug product are subject to the standard Wizza Ltd warranty terms and conditions.
Please note: Damage to your trolley caused by inadvertent reverse polarity connection of a universal Lithium battery pack (Not an official PowerBug Mini Lithium Battery) will void your warranty!
Trolleys found to be using Universal Lithium Batteries with a T-Bar type connector are prone to accidental reverse-polarity connections and will void warranty if our tests prove that a reverse polarity connection was made.
Lithium Battery Warranty**
Your PowerBug Mini Lithium Battery is covered against manufacturing faults and defects for 3 years from date of purchase.
The PowerBug Mini Lithium Battery guarantees 27 holes within the first 12 months. From 1 year onwards up to 3 years, 18 holes is guaranteed.
Years 1, 2 and 3:
Customer to pay shipping to and from the PowerBug Service Centre by pre-paying the collect and delivery charge.
If the battery is within 6 months of the original purchase date courier collection costs will be refunded should the battery have failed under manufacturers warranty.

*The limited warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur during normal use against purchases made within the UK mainland only. Water or impact damage to the battery or battery cells will void the warranty. Any repairs or replacements made without charge do not carry a new warranty beyond that of the original purchase. Additional Lithium Battery Warranty** +2 Years (5 Years Total Warranty)
As of January 2017 an additional 2 year warranty can be purchased with a Mini Lithium Battery.
This warranty upgrade surcharge adds an extra 2 years of full warranty to the standard 3 years already equipped with the battery.
Customers have the opportunity to purchase the warranty upgrade at the time of purchasing the Lithium battery or within 30 days of purchase.
Failure to purchase the £50.00 warranty upgrade within 30 days of purchase will void your eligibility to the extended warranty.
The PowerBug Mini Lithium Battery guarantees 27 holes within the first 12 months. From 1 year onwards up to 5 years, 18 holes is guaranteed. (£50.00 warranty upgrade purchase is necessary to upgrade the battery warranty to a full 5 year warranty from the standard 3 year warranty)
Lead Acid Battery, Lead Acid Battery Charger and Lithium Battery Charger Warranty**
Lead acid batteries, lead acid battery chargers and lithium battery chargers supplied with PowerBug golf trolleys are all covered by a full 12 month warranty from the customer’s date of purchase. If your product should fail during the 12 month period of ownership customers should contact Wizza LTD in accordance with the warranty information supplied with every battery at point of sale.
If your Lead Acid battery or battery charger should fail within 12 months of purchase:

Collection and delivery charge paid will be refunded if fault found is within warranty terms and is within six months of the customers purchase.
Standard 12 Month Product Warranty**
All other PowerBug products (Spare parts, bags, accessories etc) are covered by our standard 12 month warranty.
In the event of a reported warranty issue, customers to pay shipping to and from the PowerBug Service Centre by pre-paying the collect and delivery charge.
If product is within 6 months of the original purchase date courier collection costs will be refunded should the product have failed under manufacturers warranty**.

**Warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur during normal use. Any breakage caused by accidental damage or as a result of abuse or misuse or commercial use is not covered. We recommend that chargers are regularly inspected after the warranty period to help ensure against malfunction.

The PowerBug 3 Year warranty applies only to the UK Mainland.
The optional additional PowerBug 2 Year Extended Lithium Battery warranty applies only to the UK Mainland.
